Are electric Bikes any good?
Ever since i ridden on one of my grandparents little scooter, which has 3 wheels and runs on electricity i was hooked. it felt like one of those rides in a disney theme park, everything i saw at my parents farm looked so much better and entertaining, just like when you see the pirates of the carribean on that little boat. i ridden on it for about 20 hours all together and wasnt bored once, but that goes the same for the first time i driven a car which got boring after a couple of months. i wanted to get a scooter for the fresh air and feel like im helping out the envirement. but then i heard most scooters are bad for the envirement and pollute more then most cars. so i looked into electric bikes and havent heard much on that, i saw it on the news and been interested ever since. Are electric bikes any good?
I've had one for 16 months and it's the best £400 I've ever spent. In the UK they are fitted with a restrictor as legally they should only do 15 mph but obviously I soon got rid of that. I can do about 15 miles on one charge and it costs next to nothing to recharge the battery. It's great cycling up hills without any effort.
