My electric scooter has a fast and slow setting, what does it mean?
I have a Schwinn Missle FS 450 and the person who sold it to me said that the button on the charger, (Fast/Slow), means either it charges fast but not a full charge or charge slow for a complete charge. I went with his opinion until I finally tried fast and it seemed that the scooter went fast but yet shorter range versus a slow scooter but yet further range.
Please do tell me if I was right or if I tricked myself into thinking that I was going faster.
Thanks, Stewster
When you go slower on a scooter, it will always go farther than one going faster, given identical batteries.
The faster charge is for when you are in a hurry to get a charge. The slower charge is gentler on your battery and is for when you have more time. slow charging makes the battery last longer.
